This morning I watched the news and the broadcaster were talking about a storm moving into the Northeastern US. The storm was dumping snow and cities were being scaled down (or shut down). The new reporter stated that New Yorkers were being asked to shelter in place and that school had been shut down. Additionally, they were warning residents that a power outage could occur.
If you had to shelter in your home all day without power would you be mentally ready? Would you have activities the would pass the time? Adding a deck of cards or several board games to your supply cache could be helpful. Especially if you have children. They are readily available, and can be found cheap in stores and on line at places like Amazon.com
